Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Agra city first visiting one of the world's most popular monument Taj Mahal, Agra Fort drive to Jaipur (240 kms, 5:30 hrs journey time) enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri 37 kms from Agra, drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04: Jaipur
Breakfast at hotel. morning tour of Amer fort , city palace ,Hawa Mahal (palace of the wind) A beautiful pink colour building having many small windows from where the Royal ladies watched the annual procession of kingdom, the tourist can take the photograph from outside only. Evening free at leisure. & overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 05: Jaipur-Delhi
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Delhi (265 kms, 6 hrs). Upon arrival Delhi check-in at hotel, free for leisure, overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

Day 06: Delhi Departure

Day 06: Jaipur-Ajmer-Pushkar
Early morning after breakfast proceed to Ajmer by car 3 hours. Here you can visit the World Famous Ajmer Sharif, Lake and Taragarh Fort, Evening check-in into the hotel at Pushkar. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 07: Pushkar-Udaipur
After breakfast visit the world famous only one Brahama Temple and Sacred Lake of Pushkar. After Proceed to Udaipur by Car. Upon arrive Udaipur transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 08: Udaipur
In the Morning after breakfast visit City Palace, Fateh Sagar Lake and Crystal Gallery at the Fateh Prakash Palace hotel. After Lunch continue trip to Eklingi & Nagda and Sahelion-ki-Bari. Evening boating in Lake Pichola and visit Jag Mandir. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 09: Udaipur-Mumbai (By Air)
Transfer to airport to connect flight for Mumbai. Upon arrive at Mumbai, Our representative will meet you at the Airport and assist you to transfer from Airport to Hotel. Check-in into the hotel evening at Leisure at Juhu Beach (Chaupati). Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 10: Mumbai
After breakfast depart for an excursion to Elephanta Caves by regular motor launch. Return to Hotel in the Evening and free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 11: Mumbai-Goa (By Flight)
After breakfast depart for sightseeing of Mumbai city. Visit:- Gateway Of India, Prince Of Wales Museum, Flora Fountain, Marine Drive, Parsi Tower Of Silence, Crawford Market And Rozat Tahera. After sightseeing transfer to hotel and have dinner. After having dinner transfer to Mumbai airport to connect the flight for Goa. Upon arrive at Goa pick up and transfer to hotel.

 

Day 12: Goa
Breakfast at hotel, after breakfast rest of the day free to enjoy on the beach. Overnight in hotel.

 

Day 13: Goa
After breakfast depart for sightseeing of Old Goa and Panjim. Visit: Basilica of Bom Jesus, Church of Francis of Assisi, Chapel of St. Catherine, the Church of St. Cajetan, St. Augustine Tower and Convent of St. Monica. Return to hotel for lunch. Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On arrival meet and assist at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, full Day city tour of Old & New Delhi. Tours to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India - Built by Shah Jahan. Tours to the Red Fort, Visit Humayun's Tomb: built in mid 16th century this is an early example of Mughal architecture; Visit Qutab Minar, witness the India Gate, President House. The city tour ends with a visit to Lame Aryan Temple (Birla Mandir).

 

Day 03: Delhi-Jaipur
Afternoon, drive to Jaipur: The city owes its names, foundation and its careful planning to the great warrior - astronomer Maharaja Jai Singh II. In 1727, with Mughal power on the wane, Jai Singh decided to move down from his hillside fortress at nearby Amber to a new site on the plains. He laid out the city, with its surrounding walls and six rectangular blocks, according to the principles of town planning set down in Shilpa Shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture. Arrive Jaipur and check in at prebooked hotel. Rest of the Day free for individual activities.

 

Day 04: Jaipur
After breakfast, excursion to Amber Fort: At a distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, Amber was the ancient capital of Jaipur state. Construction of the fort began in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar's army and is a superb example of Rajput architecture. Elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance Afternoon, city tour of Jaipur. Visit the City Palace which has museum having an extensive collection of art, carpets, enamel ware and weapons; Jantar Mantar - the observatory built my Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728 and the façade of Hawa Mahal.

 

Day 05: Jaipur-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra
After breakfast, leave for Agra, enrooted visit the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri: built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, was the old capital of the Moghuls, which was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved in its original glory. Continue drive to Agra. Arrive Agra in the afternoon and check-in at prebooked hotel.

 

Day 06: Agra
After breakfast, city tour of Agra. Visit Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structures; Itmad-ud-daulah, which was constructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore in Pakistan; the highlight of the Day - The Taj Mahal, which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653. Afternoon, free for individual activities.

 

Day 07: Agra-Jhansi-Orchha-Khajuraho
After breakfast, proceeds your journey to khajuraho, enroute visit Orchha: A medieval city founded by Bundela rulers with palaces & temples of the 16th & 17th century – which have remarkably withstood the onslaught of time. The city is picturesquely flanked by the river Betwa. Visit of the surrounding fortress & local Ram Raja temple. Continue drive to Khajuraho, upon arrival, check in at hotel.

 

Day 08: Khajuraho
After breakfast, visit Khajuraho: Built by the warrior Chandela dynasty that rose to power in Central India between 10th & 11th centuries, the 25 odd surving temples display different facets of life, including the sensual. These erotic carvings on some panels have given rise to much speculation since Khajuraho’s re-discovery by a British officer in 1838. To preserve it for posterity, Khajuraho has been declared a World Heritage Site. Visit the eastern & western group of temples famous for their erotic sculptures. Evening at leisure and overnight stay.

 

Day 09: Khajuraho-Varanasi
After breakfast proceed for your journey to Varanasi approx. 8 hrs. Drive. In evening check-in to your pre-booked hotel at Varanasi. Evening at leisure and overnight stay.

 

Day 10: Varanasi (Kashi)
Varanasi: formerly known as Kashi – the city that illuminates. The religious capital of Hinduism, Varanasi is the oldest living city of India & one of the worlds’ most ancient. The present name is derived from the fact that the city is at the confluence of the rivers Varuna & Asi. After breakfast, excursion to Sarnath - the buried Buddhist city where Buddha preached his first sermon. After attaining enlightenment at Bodh Gaya the Buddha went to Sarnath; and it was here that he preached his first discourse in the deer park to set in motion the 'Wheel of the Dharma'. It is one of the most holy sites as in this place the stream of the Buddha's teaching first flowed. Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from 16th century BC to 12th century AD. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple & the museum (closed on FriDays). At the museum is the Ashok Pillar with its four guardian lions, used as independent India’s’ national emblem.

 

Day 11: Varanasi
Early morning, leave for boat ride on the Ganges to see the bathing Ghats (river bank) & cremation site. Sunrise on the riverfront, as seen from a boat, can be a spiritually uplifting sight. The life on the Ghats bound in an endless string of rituals; ever-changing aspects of the river & the wide landscape across have fascinated visitors from all over the world. Return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, city tour of Varanasi - Visit the Bharat Mata temple with a big relief map of India in Marble, Durga temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Benaras Hindu University which has an art gallery & the mosque of Moghul Emperor Aurangzeb. Afternoon, excursion to Ramnagar. Return by boat in the evening, enroute witness the religious ceremonies along the banks of river Ganges.

 

Day 12: Varanasi-Delhi or Kathmandu (Flight)
Morning, free for individual activities. Afternoon, transfer to the airport to board flight scheduled to depart to Delhi or you can depart to Kathmandu for your onwards journey according to your choice.

Day 1: Delhi
Around midnight arrival in Delhi. The cosmopolitan city and capital Delhi is the main gateway for travelers. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel.

 

Day 2: Delhi
This morning is at leisure. In the afternoon have sightseeing in Old Delhi. Sightseeing of Old Delhi includes "Rajghat", the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated and Jama Masjid, the great mosque of Old Delhi. Today we also visit the famous “Humayun Tomb” which is the first substantial example of Mughal architecture in India and “Qutub Minar” which is 71 meter high and was constructed in 1199. Before we proceed to the hotel we drive through New Delhi where we visit the India Gate, Government Buildings and Embassies.

 

Day 3: Delhi-Mandawa (about 260 km)
After having breakfast drive to Mandawa in the Shekhawati region. Arrive in Mandawa in the evening. Shekhawati is in the North east region of Rajasthan and is the homeland of marwaris. The Marwari’s form one of the most important merchant and business groups in India. The Marwari’s enjoyed protections by Maharajas and many of them built grand havellis. In the evening we visit the grand havellis of the Shekhawati region. The havellis are mansions, elaborately and attractively decorated with a strong main entrance. The walls are often covered with murals, local legends and religious scenes from Hindu Mythology.

 

Day 4: Mandawa-Jaipur (about 168 km)
Today we drive to the Pink City, Jaipur. This city owes its name, foundations and careful planning to the great warrior and astronomer, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and famous for its handicrafts and precious and semiprecious stones. In the afternoon we visit the City Palace which is still the formal residence of the royal family, built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. In the museum of the city palace we visit the private collection of the Jaipur Maharajas. We continue to Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, the largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable observatories. Its complex instruments reveal us the secrets of medieval Indian astronomy.

 

Day 5: Jaipur
After breakfast we drive to the ancient capital of Amber, laying 11 km. away from Jaipur. Amber was the ancient capital of Kachhawaha dynasty for 6 centuries before it was moved to newly created Jaipur. We will ascend to the Palace Fortress on the back of an Elephant. Enroute to Amber we visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds); built in 1799 AD, it contains 953 small casements with each having its own balcony. The windows enabled cool air to circulate and the ladies to watch processions below without being seen. In the afternoon we have a walk through the colorful Bazaar of Jaipur and visit a factory to see the famous block printing work being done since centuries in Jaipur. In the evening we drive through the new city of Jaipur and visit “Laxmi Narayan Mandir”, a Hindu temple made out of white marble. We might have an opportunity here to observe a prayer ceremony. Today we have dinner with a presentation of Indian music and dance.

 

Day 6: Jaipur-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra (about 250 km)
Today we leave Rajasthan, the biggest state in India and drive through a series of fields, small towns and villages to Agra. Enroute we make a stop and visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was once an imperial capital frozen in time, constructed by Akbar the Great in the 16th century. This wonderful city constructed by red sand stones was abandoned as abruptly as it had been built. It has been generally stated that it was due to failing in the water supply. In the evening arrive in Agra.

 

Day 7: Agra
We start today our sightseeing by a visit to the Agra Fort, built by three of the greatest Mughal emperors. The construction of this massive structure began in 1565 under Akbar's reign and continued till the time of his grandson's reign, Shah Jahan who built the impressive imperial quarters and mosque. After the visit of Agra Fort we proceed to visit the most beautiful monument of India, the Taj Mahal, an enduring monument to love, with a continually fulfilling beauty. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1631-52, as a tomb and memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal (Jewel of the Palace), who died at the age of 39 giving birth to her 14th child. We spend enough time at Taj Mahal to take this impressive memory home. After the visit of Taj Mahal we have a look at the famous fine marble inlay work which is still being done in Agra by the descendants of the families of builders and artists of the Taj Mahal.

 

Day 8: Agra-Delhi Departure
After having breakfast drive to Delhi. Upon arrive at Delhi transfer to hotel and have dinner. After having dinner transfer to Delhi airport to connect the flight for onwards destinations. .
