Day 01: Rishikesh/Dehradun/Haridwar – Raithal Village 225 Kms / 7 Hr.

Morning pick at Rishikesh/Dehradun/Haridwar, and drive to Raithal village via Uttarkashi

 

Raithal Village is a peaceful and scenic village located near Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand. It is a perfect destination for tourists who want to spend quality time in nature, away from the noise and fast-paced life of the cities

Day 02: Hike nearby Village

After Breakfast Hike nearby Raithal Village and acclimatization before trek to Dayara Bugyal

Day 02: Trek to Dayara Bugyal (Meadows) 6 Km trek / 5 Hr.

After breakfast 6 Km hike to Dayara Bugyal through dense forests of oak, pine, and rhododendron before opening into vast alpine meadows

 

Overnight stay in local shepherd's hut /tent.

 

Day 04: Dayara – Raithal Village 6 Km trek / 3 Hr

After breakfast witness the breathtaking meadows of Dayara Bugyal surrounded by Himalayan peaks. Spend time exploring and photographing the landscape before Descend back to Raithal Village for overnight stay.

Day 05: Raithal Village – Gangotari 80 Km / 3 Hr

After breakfast drive to Gangotari through Gangnani hot spring and Sonic Harsil Valley.  Arrive; check in pre booked guest house and evening visit the sacred temple town of Gangotri. Explore the spiritual atmosphere, river ghats, and surrounding Himalayan scenery.

Day 06: Gangotari – Uttarkashi - Rishikesh Drop

After breakfast drive back to Rishikesh, through Uttarkashi. Tour and services ends at Rishikesh.

 

Uttarkashi is a prominent holy town and the administrative headquarters of the Uttarkashi District in the northern state of Uttarakhand, India. Perched at an altitude of 1,158 metres along the banks of the Bhagirathi River, it is famously revered as the "Kashi of the North" due to its spiritual similarity to Varanasi (Kashi) in the plains.

 

Uttarkashi - is a religious, spiritual and adventurous town located on the banks of river Bhagirathi. Uttarkashi literally means ‘The Kashi of North’,.

 

Visit Vishwanath temple – Vishwanath temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. Re-constructed in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State in the ancient architectural style. It is situated at the heart of the town. A massive iron trident, symbolic of divine mother’s, is erected and worshiped from time immemorial at the temple complex. Ganeshji, Sakshi Gopal, Markandeya Rishi’s small shrines are also part of the temple complex. As per Skanda Puran, Uttarkashi is known as ‘Saumya Varanasi’, the abode of Lord Shiva in Kaliyug, and counted as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas
