The Valley of Flowers National Park is an Indian national park, located in North Chamoli, in the state of Uttarakhand and is known for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and the variety of flora. This richly diverse area is also home to rare and endangered animals, including the Asiatic black bear, snow leopard, musk deer, brown bear, red fox, and blue sheep. Birds found in the park include Himalayan monal pheasant and other high altitude birds. At 3352 to 3658 meters above sea level, the gentle landscape of the Valley of Flowers National Park complements the rugged mountain wilderness of Nanda Devi National Park to the east. Together, they encompass a unique transition zone between the mountain ranges of the Zanskar and Great Himalaya. The park stretches over an expanse of 87.50 km2 and it is about 8 km long and 2 km wide. Both parks are encompassed in the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve(223,674 ha) which is further surrounded by a buffer zone (5,148.57 km) Nanda Devi National Park Reserve is in the UNESCO.
Hemkund Sahib (also spelled Hemkunt) is a Sikh place of worship Gurudwara, known as Gurudwara Sri Hemkunt Sahib Ji, devoted to Guru Gobind Singh Ji (1666–1708), the tenth Sikh Guru, which finds mention in Dasam Granth, a piece of work believed to be narrated by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, located in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, India. With a setting of a glacial lake surrounded by seven mountain peaks and each peak adorned by a Nishan Sahib on its cliff, it is located in the Himalayas at an elevation of 4632 meters (15,200 ft) as per the Survey

Detailed Itinerary: -
Day 01: Arrival Dehradun & Transfer to Rishikesh
On arrival at Jolly grant airport in Dehradun, meet and transfer to Rishikesh, check in at the hotel. Evening visit the Ganga Ghat and attend Ganga Arti at Triveni Ghat/ Parmarth Niketan.
"The Prayer dedicated to Goddess Ganga" " the town of ashrams and temples, Ghats and pilgrims, mountains and the holy Ganges. When global orange sun suspended, waits low amid the red/yellow streaked horizon, then all these combine to give this town a very special evening. The temple bells roar, priests enchant mantras. Immersed in sublimation stand the pilgrims. Cupped leaves, with saffron marigold petals and a small candle flame, flickering ride the current of water of wisdom. Suddenly the sky darkens, spreading a blanket of stillness; everything stops, except the sound of current, which has just sunk the tiny flames of cupped leaves, few minutes back. After experiencing the above we trace our steps back to the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay.
Day 02: Rishikesh – Joshimath (244-kilometer drive, estimated at 9 hours)
After early breakfast leave for Joshimath. Enroute stop in Devprayag to witness the confluence of river Alaknanda and Bhagirathi to form holy river Ganga. Reach Joshimath by evening. Arrive, and check in at the hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay.
Day 03: Driver to Pulna Village and Trek to Ghangaria (24 Kms. Drive + 9 Kms Trek)
After early breakfast leave for Pulna village by road with packed lunch. Prepare for trek on arrival and then leave on the trek to Ghangaria, which will be our base camp for further trek to Valley Of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. Reach Ghangaria late in the afternoon, check in guest house. Dinner & Overnight stay.
Day 04: Ghangaria – The Valley of Flowers – Ghangaria (4 Kms. Trek one way)
After breakfast sort trek to the Valley of Flowers National Park.
Ghangaria to the Valley Of Flowers is a mix of gradual, steep uphill and scenic trek that greets you with cool breeze and breathtaking views. After the entry point, move around at your own pace to enjoy the scenic views of the valley. Soak in the fragrances and the views and get an experience of a lifetime! Trek back to the Ghangaria for the night.
Day 05: Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria (5 Kms. Trek one way)
After breakfast, trek to Hemkund Sahib (a Sikh religious place) on the banks of Hemkund Lake at a height of 4320 mts. This trek is a gradual ascent on the cobbled path from the altitude of 3049 mts to 4320 mts in just 5 kms. Return to Ghangaria by evening for overnight stay.
Day 06: Ghangaria – Pulna Village 9 Km Trek & Driver to Rudraprayag 120 Kms / 5 Hrs.
After breakfast 09 km trek down to Pulna village. Here, we will meet our driver and leave by road for Rudraprayag, via Joshimath, Chamoli and Karanprayag. On reaching, check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Rudraprayag is the meeting point of two significant rivers i.e. Alaknanda and Mandakini River.
Day 07: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh 140 Kms. Drive / 5 Hrs.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Rudraprayag Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers. Spend some time enjoying the scenic beauty and spiritual atmosphere before continuing the drive to Rishikesh. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. The evening is free for leisure activities, local market visits, café hopping, or exploring the spiritual charm of Rishikesh at your own pace.
Day 08: Rishikesh – Dehradun Drop
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and as per your flight timing, a car will be arranged for your transfer to Jolly Grant Airport.
